Freedom Hub - Slavery in Australia
The Freedom Hub is a unique organisation founded in 2014 by human rights advocate and procurement specialist, Sally Irwin. 100% of our profits go towards a Survivor School where we train and equip survivors here in Australia to rebuild their lives and become work ready. To fund this we set up a social enterprise that includes:
- Ethical Business Services - education ASX100 companies about human rights and ethical business practices, policies and supply chains with ‘survivor-informed’ guidance.
- Cafe - located in Waterloo Sydney, providing food and drinks to locals
- Ethical Catering - providing slavery-free catering for events, board meetings, parties
- Ethical Events - hosting events in the Waterloo venue space eg. Weddings, Birthdays
- Retail & Wholesale Products - selling ethical, slavery-free products.
