Welcome to two new members
- Emmanuel is 23 years old who is on exchange from South America. He has completed a International Business degree and is currently studying Marketing and Communications. After being on an Youth exchange as a teenager he wants to give back to the community through Rotary.
- Steven has a Compliance and Development consultancy firm and has previously done Pro Bono work focusing on Business Coaching. He was introduced to Rotary through Angelo and Sue through a local cafe they all frequent.
Guest Speaker: Geoff Pritchard -
Geoff will be talking about how during the Cold War how a pharmacist was able to infiltrate the Russian Embassy becoming a covert operative for ASIO.
Geoff Pritchard studied Pharmacy at both Sydney and London Universities. Owned or part-owned 3 pharmacies in Newtown. Then started organising post-graduate education of pharmacists for the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, a position that stretched from 6 months to 18 ½ years. He was tapped on the shoulder in 1997 and appointed a director of The Sydney 2000 Olympic Games specifically monitoring drugs to be brought into Australia by the 142 competing countries.

- Angelo advised there will be a $20,000 shortfall with the BBQ, requested new ideas.
- Angelo, Sue and Louise attended the District Assembly on the 4th May. Angelo advised there has been minor changes:
- Foundation dues of $5,000 is due by 5th June, 2024
- Updated Club Goals are due by the 31st May, 2024
- WWCC need to up to date and Birthdates need to be updated in Clubrunner, Kate to maintain register
- Insurance for BBQ have been review by George
- Romac have put in a request for a Operational Director and HR Training Chairperson
- Mary House has requested urgent donations
- Sue spoke to CEO of Pheonix House, Sue will follow up.
- Angelo proposed a dinner with Chatswood in July / August.
- Cameragyal School for teacher we have donate $500.00 has agreed to be a speaker
- Sue asked to confirm D-Cafe donation of $500.00 has been paid, Mark advised he will confirm.
- Zone 8 Community Leaders award nominees
- ROMAC Volunteers expanding to further location Perth, New Zealand
- D-Cafe - Louise being vetted to be a volunteer

- ROMAC set target of 32 patience this year which is positive
