Well, for our first social function for the year on Saturday evening, what a great success. The Italian Fiesta at the Raveanes has certainly set a high bench mark for future events, and many thanks to Sue and Angelo, plus daughter Alison, for putting on such a fine variety of dishes. Also for Ross for the desserts. That gelato was just superb. I’m sure no one left hungry.
A great night was had by all.
With the COVID numbers down and the start of vaccinations, hopefully (touch wood) the Pandemic will be behind us sooner rather than later, and the big question now is, when will normality return, that is, for Rotary more regular face to face Meetings, BBQ’s and social events. Watch this space.
Interesting discussion on holiday destinations within Australia, as opposed to overseas travel, including cruises, literally forced on us in the last year. Amazing the variety of locations our group has visited in recent times highlighting the incredible size and diversity from the tropics through to the more temperate zones of Tasmania. Good input by all.
