PRESIDENT'S COLUMN

Hello, Members and our Rotary Friends receiving this eBulletin.

Another  quiet, but productive, meeting this week with many still on holidays, but looking forward to our next Dinner meeting with ex-member Peter Hojgaard-Olsen talking on  his new enterprise, in Denmark, for social integration called Integrated Living Community.

It was interesting to note that the Rotary Foundation(A/NZ) has given away $4,000,000 in grants since 2020. Our district which has 5% of Rotarians in the area has 20% of the activity.
Our club makes a point of finding a project & applying for a grant every year. Our current project is an IT project for Mary's house.

Finally let me know if you are considering attending the Rotary International Convention, as we are trying to put a group together for an interesting weekend in Melbourne. I have attended a number of these and I highly recommend them.

Yours in Rotary Service
President Ross
