PRESIDENT'S COLUMN

Dear Fellow Rotarians and Friends,

So, here’s to a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, staying at home.
About the only item that went to schedule, was the first week for the Tree of Joy at the Chase ,apart from that ,what with the COVID outbreak in Avalon late December ,everything else was somewhat rearranged .Anyhow, it’s something we’ve become accustomed to, and here we are mid- January, having had our first Zoom Meeting for the year, but no BBQ on Saturday, which was our original schedule.
So thanks to all for attending our first Meeting, great to see all the familiar faces ,and next Monday we have our first “face to face” Meeting, the first since March, at the Union Hotel. So look forward to seeing you all then. And in the meantime Sue and Angelo, with the help of Tom and Ross are putting together our first social event “drinks and nibbles get together” at the Raveane’s on the Saturday, the 13th February on what should be a great afternoon/evening event. Let’s all try and get along to this one.

Yours In Rotary

Ian
