Well, we must say, congratulations to Phil for being able to organise Professor Tony Basten, an epidemiologist from the Garven Institute of Medical Research, to come and discuss the COVID vaccine evolution. Such a great take away for us all to understand what it’s all about, and in terms we could all understand.
The BBQ on Saturday, the first one back this year, was a pretty quiet one, with the inclement weather, but I’m sure we’ll have better ones to come.
And don’t forget, this coming Saturday at Angelo’s for our first social outing for the year, kicking off at 4pm. So come along and taste that fine Italian cuisine prepared by the Raveane’s, Tom and Ross. An evening not to be missed.
Last Meeting Monday: 15th February 2021 - Presentation by Professor Basten on COVID19
LIVE at the Union Hotel.
With the roll out of vaccines at the end of February 2021, Professor Basten spoke to us about the pandemic, and vaccines, their purpose and outcome as known at this time.
Click on this YouTube link to view the whole 40 minute presentation. We apologise for the poor quality of the audio, but our Club has learnt by the experience and we will be improving our audio next presentation.
