PRESIDENT'S COLUMN
Dear Rotarians,

What a great way to finish the year.  First, a very successful BBQ at the Crows Nest Carols last Sunday, followed by Monday’s opening of the Tree of Joy at Chatswood Chase.  The highlight of the week being our annual Christmas/Giving Night. It was a great pleasure to watch Past President Sue give out over $50,000 to various worthy charities.  I found it very informative to hear where our hard earnt money is going, and the impact it will make both locally and around the world.

A big THANK YOU to all members who helped raise over $50,000 in Sue’s year. Key donations outside of the Giving Night included the Rotary Foundation and Platinum sponsorship of Sienna’s Gala Ball for Neuroblastoma research.

Let me take this opportunity to wish you, your family and friends a very merry Xmas, and safe holidays. I look forward to seeing you all at our first meeting in the New Year on Monday January 13th.

Yours in Rotary

Mark
