Guest Speaker Update:
District Governor, Niranjan Deodhar, addressed the meeting.
Niranjan walked us thru his key areas of focus, with assigned leaders, those being
People - Interclub collaboration
Partnerships - Schools & councils, etc
Public Image - Storybank of achievements
Then trends he has seen in clubs
- Balance of local / global
- Investment in youth
- engagement with district news
- addressing inequality
- partnerships with other clubs
- hoisting Major events
- extending list of friends/volunteers
- succession plans
He closed by extending an invite to the district conference, including "Pitch for Purpose" - a school environment challenge.

District Conference in March 21/22nd.
- Location: Penrith
- Events: Friday night dinner followed by the conference on Saturday night.
- The President encourages more members to participate—there’s even talk of potential Bollywood dancers!

BBQ – Saturday, 1st February
- Over $1800 profit.
- Mark's poker-playing mate has continued with his challenge of 12 BBQ sponsors for the year. So far, 7 business have contributed $400 each for the purchase of sausages each month.
