ROTARY: BE THE INSPIRATION

Next Meeting Monday -the 6th of May, our Guest Speaker will be Shelley Whittington from Destiny Rescue

Shelley will be visiting our Club to give an up-date on Destiny Rescues activities.

Last Tuesday, our Club celebrated our 50th Birthday at the Kirribilli Club

In what turned out to be a great evening and a huge success for the Club was the celebration of our 50th year in operation with over 100 attendees, including not only Club members, and past members, and their partners, but representatives from nearby Clubs, in North Sydney, North Sydney Sunrise, Chatswood, Lane Cove, Northbridge and Mosman.
Special Guests included NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, Local Federal MP, Trent Zimmerman, District Governor, Susan Wakefield. Our Tom Sweeney, as usual, did a fantastic job in MCing the night. Welcoming speech by President Sue, followed by congratulation speeches made by the Premier and Trent Zimmerman. Harold and  Angelo spoke on the history and achievements of the Club and distinguished Club members. While our special Guest Speaker, in Club member, Michael McQueen, spoke on the importance of making Rotary relevant in today's changing world.                      But the highlight of the night was the special presentation made to our foundation, and still very active Club member in Cyril Clark, who received a ruby Paul Harris Pin for his incredible contribution to the Club over the years.                                                                                                                           A great night had by all, and many thanks to the organizers within the Club that helped make it such a successful night
