Due to numerous apologies, only 5 members were present last Monday.
We had plenty of food, and some excellent discussions.
Whilst the meeting finished early, we did NOT feel is was a waste of time.

Sylvia , from Phoenix House, attended and gave us a big THANK YOU for our club nominating them for the North Sydney Community Awards, in which they WON their section. Well Done to all. She also mentioned they have started a $40,000 project starting a cooking school. We have offered to be the guinea pigs , so an interesting lunch coming up soon!
Just a reminder to all members to renew their Centurion membership 2018-2019 or become a new member.Please refer attached. As you know the Centurion program is the Australian way for Rotarians to make personal contributions to the Foundation – which is, of course, our charity. Don’t forget that the $100 Centurion contributions accumulate towards a personal Paul Harris Fellowship and 50% eventually reappears to support club and District activities via District Designated Funds.

Alon is progressing the Giving Night. He would appreciate your input to the list of charities to receive donations by November 29th. The venue will be confirmed before then. Please keep Monday 10th free (evening).
Two volunteers are required this Saturday for the afternoon shift. Please call Howard ASAP. Mark will trial the eftpos Square Q device. Alon has found a video, on how to use and he will circulate.
We have agreed to support this year's Crows Nest Xmas Carols with our usual BBQ. Volunteers needed for Sunday 9th December 4-7pm.
Our 50th Birthday celebrations are progressing. Ross will contact Daltone House as a possible venue.
No-one has claimed the Melbourne Cup Trifecta yet. Maybe a windfall for the club! Please check your tickets - the winning numbers are 23, 9, & 17.
