PRESIDENT'S COLUMN
 
Dear Rotarians,
 
Great to see so many of you at last night's Changeover dinner. It was a great success.
 
My report on  this year , as President, is later in the eBulletin , but I would like to restate that it was a pleasure and honour to be your president over the last 12 months.
Thank you for the opportunity.

Our very own Howard will present on Where the Penguins Holiday-Madagascar
 
Howard has just spent two weeks in Madagascar helping on a Water project and is keen to tell us of his experiences.
 
Last Meeting -  Changeover night Wednesday 27th June 2018.  
 
Toast to Rotary International was by PDG Harold Sharp, and response by PDG Gina Growden. 
 
President Alon presented a $5000 cheque to the Rotary Foundation, represented by District Chair David Rands.

2017-18 ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Club’s core focus for 17/18
I believe it is the responsibility of each incoming president to decide for themselves whether they are happy with the 5 core areas of work we have set up this year or whether they wish to alter it but for FY17/18 we have focused our service to 5 main categories: Community service, Children’s illness, Youth, International projects and Grants, and Domestic violence/Women’s care.

Photos of the first two toilets under construction from the Water Sanitation project in Mewat, India.
Construction of the balance will not resume until after the Monsoon season.
