Hello, Members and our Rotary Friends receiving this eBulletin.
Well, what a great night we had last Monday.Being our second evening Meeting, once again it was great to see such a good turn out with Members, partners and Guests. And thanks to Tom for arranging our special Guest Speaker,Carla Moore, who recently celebrated 50 years as a teacher. Carla spoke very passionately on her topic, Shakespeare and she has written a book teaching teachers how to teach Shakespeare. Carla is considered one of the leading exponents of Shakespeare in the Department of Education. As a published playwright, director and HSC examiner in drama, she was most entertaining discuss her topic 'SHAKESPEARE - TO BE OR NOT? - a question of whether Shakespeare is still relevant today in schools. And we were all convinced by Carla's excellent talk.
So,keep it in your diary, the last Monday of the month we now have an evening Meeting at the Union Hotel.Don't miss out.
