It has been a big rotary week. This week we had the carols on Sunday BBQ organised by Angelo and Sue with the support of the Smiths and the Berans. Thank you for your efforts, it was an excellent event and an excellent BBQ. We raised in excess of $800 that will go to Mary’s House Refuge. I wish to thank our Club Members and the staff at Sterling Insurance for your assistance and involvement in providing Christmas Hampers for the needy in our community. Together we delivered 20 Hampers to Mimi at Catholic Care. A fantastic result! Tuesday was the giving night where Past President Peter gave in excess $40,000 to multiple charities and a wonderful night was had by all. Great food and company and the great feeling that giving gives. This week is tree of Joy in Chatswood and that wraps up the year in Rotary - here’s to another wonderful year ahead. I wish you and your families a happy, healthy and prosperous holiday period and year ahead and look forward to seeing all in the new year. All the best
Last Meeting of the year, was our Giving Night & Xmas Party on Tuesday.
Past President Peter Coote, invited representatives from our beneficiary organisations to dinner, and presented them all with a cheque of $5000.
